| Meet the Management Team |
Roger S. Metz – VP, Chief Technology Officer and Director of Development.
Mr. Metz, a resident of Sandy Hook, CT, attended Ridgefield High School in Ridgefield CT and Central Connecticut State University in New Britain, CT, where he majored in Computer Science. Prior to joining the management team at CoActiv Medical Business Solutions, Roger served in various increasingly important executive positions over a 14 year period at AMSYS, Inc., the parent company of CoActiv. His most recent position at AMSYS was as Senior Network Engineer and Director of Medical and Radiology Support Services.
Mr. Metz, one of the first employees hired at CoActiv, when the business was first formed, has assumed the day to day role of directing the development team on the important EXAM-PACS project. Roger also is a key member of the management team and participates in both long term strategic planning as well as managing the company’s short term tactical implementation goals. It was Roger’s direct input that has led to the rapid development of EXAM-PACS as a class-one participant in the very competitive world of Medical Digital Imaging.
Roger is a true “computer geek” who also happens to enjoy fast cars, water skiing and mountain biking.

John S McDougall – Vice President of Operations
Mr. McDougall, a resident of New Milford, CT, graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1971 with a B.S. in Sociology. He received a MBA in 1992 from Western Connecticut State University, Ancell School of Business, and has numerous certificates and credits in finance and financial planning.
Before joining the CoActiv team, John was with AMSYS, Inc. since 1990, serving in the capacities of staff accountant, service manager, office manager and most recently as the VP of Operations. Prior to AMSYS, Mr. McDougall served with the US Navy (retired as a Full Commander USNR-R), Contract and site Manager for American Systems (Hospital Management Company), Office & Warehouse Manager for Snap-On Tools and Controller for American Computer Leasing (mainframe computer leasing company). During his time at AMSYS, he has also worked with both the marketing and technical staff to develop standards to meet the constantly changing environment of the IT industry.
As part of his operational duties at AMSYS, he also supervised the AMSYS IT staff at Danbury Hospital from 1993 to 2002. He was instrumental in assisting the hospital in restructuring and training its staff to the point where the hospital was able to bring all of its IT desktop support in house and eliminate the need for outside IT support.
Mr. McDougall will be responsible for both financial and operational management at CoActiv and will supervise purchasing, AR and AP operations. John will also coordinate PACS, modality and medical equipment leasing with CoActiv’s financing partners.

Geoffrey Langdon - Vice President of IT, Data Systems & Security Manager
Since graduating from University of Florida with a double-major in Electrical Engineering and Broadcast Production / Journalism, Mr. Langdon has enjoyed a 35+ year career in designing and producing reliable, state-of-the-art, high-tech systems.
During his tenure at university, Mr. Langdon’s talents and experience drew the attention of the United States Marine Band, "The President's Own", and he was appointed to the position of Chief Engineer – Recording and Technology, for the organization. During his tour with the Band, he was responsible for all facets of technical facilities design, construction and operations – including providing recording and audio services for concerts at the White House.
Subsequently recruited by Philips / AKG, Mr. Langdon spent approximately 10 years with Philips and then another 10 years with Siemens / Neve – both recognized world-wide as leaders in their field – as Engineering and Technology manager, developing, marketing and supporting professional electronic and communication products.
During that period, as chairman of the ANSI / AES standards committee on professional audio, Mr. Langdon helped usher in the age of digital audio in both the professional and consumer arenas. Recognized for his efforts and impact on the industry, Mr. Langdon was recognized as a Fellow of the Audio Engineering Society.
In the early 1980s, and the dawn of PC-based business-operations networks, Mr. Langdon implemented a remarkably stable and reliable Novell network for Siemens / Neve. Trained in Information Security by ex-National Security Agency staff, Mr. Langdon became increasingly interested in – and adept at – designing and implementing business-oriented data systems that were robust and secure, yet cost effective and eminently approachable by the "non-geek" businessperson.
Since joining CoActiv parent, AMSYS, Inc. in 1994, Mr. Langdon served in various technical, engineering and business management capacities, most recently as Executive VP and Senior Technical Engineer.
Mr. Langdon will be responsible for developing and maintaining the standards for PACS and IT infrastructure, security, reliability, performance and scalability. Geoff will be working closely with Mr. Metz, CTO, in coordinating the adaptation of current technologies to CoActiv Medical Systems to assure that the company is always at the forefront of technological innovation. This partnership will guarantee that CoActiv will always be able to implement state of the art technologies, without ever compromising the integrity reliability and security of the company medical systems.

Charles D. O’Neill – Director of Client Services
Mr. O’Neill has recently assumed responsibility for the management of all client services for CoActiv Medical Business Solutions, including: installation, maintenance, training and support services.
Before joining CoActiv in 2003, Mr. O’Neill, a Danbury, CT resident, served in various management positions at AMSYS, Inc., parent company to CoActiv. While at AMSYS, Charles served for several years as Manager of Desktop Services for Danbury Hospital in Danbury CT, an IT outsource client of AMSYS. Mr. O’Neill managed the 4-8 member AMSYS team who were responsible for more than 1500 PCs, and 300 printers for the Hospital campus and their six off site locations.
Mr. O’Neill most recently served as the Director of Information Technology for another AMSYS client, Advanced Radiology Consultants, a large Connecticut Radiology practice with 7 sites throughout southern Connecticut. Mr. O’Neill redesigned their wide and local area network to accommodate their 6 remote imaging sites and integrate their RIS, PACS, dictation and voice networks to streamline the organizational work flow.
Prior to joining AMSYS, Charles served as Marketing Manager for Inset Systems of Brookfield, CT, the premiere graphics conversion and utility company. Mr. O’Neill was also responsible for most of the vendor training and educational materials developed for the INSET product Line.
Charles is a graduate of Danbury High School in Danbury, CT, and Fairfield University located in Fairfield, CT, where he earned a B.A. in Modern Languages with a Minor in Mathematics and Education. Mr. O’Neill also attended Universite Laval, Quebec, Canada, where he accumulated postgraduate credits in French literature, grammar, phonetics, history and culture.
