CoActiv Announces Major New Reseller Initiative
Seeks To Expand Its Growing Success In New Markets
July 1, 2009—Ridgefield, Conn— CoActiv, the high performance, affordable PACS and digital medical image solution provider, today announced a new initiative to build a national network of medical imaging resellers to further expand its rapidly growing sales. The company is now actively seeking to identify and establish relationships with appropriate organizations sharing its commitment to advanced technology, quality service and marketing success.
Catering to a diverse range of customer needs, CoActiv’s product line ranges from EXAM- PACS®, an advanced, full-featured enterprise PACS, and EXAM-ESSENTIALS™, a revolutionary new turnkey solution enabling growing medical practices to transition easily and affordably to complete digital imaging workflow; to EXAM-VAULT®, a hosted QUAD- REDUNDANT ARCHIVING® solution that stores data in four geographically distinct locations.

Pointing out that the CoActiv product line is an excellent fit for independent local resellers nationwide that work with both large and small hospitals and imaging centers, Heere notes that many of these sites are converting to a digital environment for the first time and need to keep costs in check. With its feature-rich, easy-to-use EXAM-PACS and related solutions, CoActiv is uniquely positioned to capitalize on current market conditions and create productive partnerships with specialized local resellers. Introduced at RSNA 2008, Exam-Essentials addresses the needs of a small practice but also offers an easy and cost-effective upgrade path to EXAM-PACS.
“We have entered the reseller arena with several preliminary partnerships, and they’ve been strong win-win situations,” Heere said, noting that reseller New York Imaging Services (Newburgh, NY), made nine sales during the first few weeks of their CoActiv affiliation. “We anticipate creating a carefully selected network of resellers that share our commitment to delivering significant value with the right products and services for a given imaging site. Like most of these local resellers, CoActiv places a high priority on customer service and customization of its product to meet medical facilities’ specific needs. We feel the marketplace will be extremely accepting of our new distribution efforts.”
According to Heere, EXAM-PACS offers the same features and functionalities as PACS solutions up to five or six times the price and is versatile enough to support large multi-site hospitals as well as smaller medical facilities. This will enable local reseller organizations to meet the needs of larger hospitals and potentially expand their client base.
