CoActiv Introduces EXAM-PACS™:Helps local Imaging Center win “Top 5” Award.
Ridgefield, CT — CoActiv Medical Business Solutions™, a recently formedaffiliated business of AMSYS, INC. of Ridgefield, CT, has announced plansto introduce a revolutionary Picture Archiving and Communication System(PACS) at the annual Radiological Society of North America (RSNA)Conference, November 30th through December 4th, in Chicago, Ill.

The EXAM-PACS™ solution achieves much of its cost savings through theuse of readily available and inexpensive PCs and PC servers. Easy toacquire, install and maintain almost anywhere on earth. Because this systemis built upon of a series of DICOM compliant software applications and PCcomponents, it is, in essence, a modular system, with most modules capableof standing alone, or being integrated into a fully functional professionalPACS installation.
This modular component configuration allows the imaging centers to selectjust the components they need to build a PACS that meets their immediateimage handling requirements and budget. Additional work stations orfunctionality can be quickly and easily added later, as needs change or toaccommodate the entire practice enterprise.
