CoActiv adds "Modality Worklist Service Option" and "Broker-less HL-7 Capability" with EXAM-PACS® Integrations
Ridgefield, CT CoActiv Medical Business Solutions, a software and systems provider to hospitals and imaging centers for PACS, tele-radiology and DICOM services, will be highlighting a modality worklist service option and Broker-less HL-7 capability with their EXAM-PACS® enterprise PACS solution, at the 2005 Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) Conference in booth #6429, Nov. 27 – Dec. 2, in Chicago, Ill.
CoActiv’s Modality Worklist Service Option provides DICOM Modality Worklist services at no extra charge for RIS/HIS/EXAM-PACS integrations where the HIS or RIS cannot provide the service. This service will be available and provided as part of a CoActiv custom PACS/RIS/HIS interface, for clients with HIS, RIS, EMR or other information systems that lack this capability.
CoActiv’s Broker-less HL-7 Capability allows bidirectional HL-7 interfacing to virtually any HL-7 capable application at substantially reduced costs to clients. This capability was developed to combat the very high HL-7 integration fees being charged by other PACS vendors. CoActiv simplifies and reduces the implementation costs of the HL-7 interface process by eliminating the need for a separate PACS-Broker.
